Episode 7?

I recently got Flash working again and I've been thinking about doing a new Slippery Slide of Death episode. But after I look back at Episode 6, I realize that's going to be hard to top. In terms of graphics and sounds (the parts I'm usually lazy about, until last episode), I might not be motivated to put that much effort into my next episode. That is, unless I come up with a good solid idea for the next installment. At this point, though, I don't have much of a clue for what it will be about.

Episode 6

Oh yes, I followed through and made Episode 6 of The Slippery Slide of Death last last weekend. It even got accepted on Newgrounds! To quote this site (chicken-cheese.com) on the latest episode:

I had had the idea for this episode in my head for some time now, but was only recently inspired to go ahead and actually make it. As I started the first scene, I knew right away I didn't want the simple "movement lines" that I've used every time before to show how fast the guy's moving. So I made the slide "shininess" move. I still wanted more. I added a sky background and had it fade as he went down the slide. I wanted more. I made the city in the background to give some kind of relationship, and was finally satisfied. For the rest of the episode the bar was set at that standard of actually, ya know, full color. I would have been 100% satisfied with this episode if I could've found an airplane/good splatter sound effect, but otherwise this was my favorite.

So there you have it. And this has got me going. I just may continue these episodes, with the summer coming.

More Slide Mishaps

The Slippery Slide of Death will be returning with a brand new episode! I'll be working on Episode 6 this weekend. I was recently inspired to create another episode, because of the amount of people I've seen getting joy out of blood splurting as a man falls onto a slide in combination with a random saw (in Episode 1), as of late. This will be soon, when there is more daylight/awakeness.
