When you realize you don't know everything about yourself, I've found the best policy is simply fuck it. Live on impulses. If you feel like doing something, grab a hold of that feeling and ride it. You'll come to embody the mess that you (along with the rest of the human race) are and in being different, you'll be understood on a level that most people won't get until further down the road.

So fuck it. Live. Don't get caught up in the mediocrity of the social world and do your own thing. In the end it'll work out and along the way you'll be happy. That is the best policy.

Here are my thoughts: Teens don't tweet because Twitter-ocracy depends almost entirely upon people being themselves. As a part of this demographic, I see how a relatively small population under the age-25-cap is comfortable with this. In fact, sites like Myspace and Facebook encourage the certain-camera-angles-that-make-me-look-good and photo-shopped faces that make it easy to compensate for our lack of self-knowledge but still become a sociable person.

Until the day that our society finally teaches us that it's okay to be who you are and the nerds co-exist with the jocks and the goths with the preps, this will remain the status-quo. But the internet is ever-changing, and if anyone can do it, Twitter can.

I don't want to do a serious blog here. I've divvied up all my stuff so that I could specialize but I really don't know what to use this site for. I like writing a bit of my philosophy and other writings. But I also like providing a little bit more on me and what I'm doing.

I was thinking I should put what is at http://matt.flashstuf.com/ on this domain name, and create a subdirectory for this blog. Branch out a bit. But even that site has a tiny blog on it-- it would just be confusing.

And then I have a blog for my professional stuff and internet business. I have a few subscribers there, too, which is pretty nifty. Ah, what to do. I'll figure it out. And I'll live with whatever I decide to post here. Screw it, just don't sweat it! Duh, what am I thinking.
